Hello sweet friends!
Another year is coming most of the time people now are busy with their lives like shopping,wrapping gifts,attending masses and parties, etc. In short, we are all busy for welcoming the New Year.
Basically, that is our way to express thanksgiving to God and to our fellowmen by sharing all we have and thanking the blessings we receive on the past year and if i'm not mistaken it is traditionally done worldwide.
I am really excited to express here my gratitude by sharing you some of my Activities before the year ended and my goal in life as i embraced the luck and blessings in the Year of the Horse - 2014!.
Noche Buena Preparation
On the day before New Year, each one of us has a task to do. My sister and her husband who do the shopping, my Mom cook our food for Noche Buena and your's truly fixing the Christmas tree decoration..
Why? as you know if you have children in your house whether your own kids or not,you really cannot expect that all your decoration be as nice as you put it before. I assume that you can relate what i'm saying here however they will fill your heart with so much joy and true happiness.
After i done fixing my Christmas tree i assist my Mom in the kitchen and did my specialty Salad!(Macaroni or Fruit) i love them both. So i did the Fruit Salad then wash all the dishes and arrange the table mat for our foods is ready to serve on the eve of New Year.
Grand New Years Day
It is a good start when we celebrate the New Year in the street together with our neighbors.Greeting each other a happy new year,smiling, laughing,sharing our foods and chatting,this is our way of expressing gratitude towards other people whether a friend or just an acquaintance. When the clock ticks on the 12:00 midnight everybody join forces to blow our horn, we called it "Torotot" here in Davao in the middle of the Street. People go outside to mingle,dance with the loud music or used kitchen utensils to create some noise. This celebration is the happiest New Year in Davao, though we have no explosive materials to make some noise but the people here are very resourceful, were enjoying while taking care of our safety.
Thanks to our Mayor who banned the explosive materials in our place and yes! our day started with so much happines because we break the Guinness World Record in Davao City the "Torotot Festival". A total of 7,568 "Torotot" blowers joined the New Year's Festivity in making noise by tooting partyblowers instead of dangerous exploding firecrackers. Living in Davao is a great priviledge for anything your looking for is within this promise land.

- I may be more cautious in my health though i'm not excellent on this but i know through the help of my natural medicine i can be healthier than before.
- This is connected to my health,because if i'm not in good health how can i continue what i am doing now.
- I really love to have more friends and be kind to them,this year looking forward for another friends and more kindness to express.
- Oh,this is Great!!..i want to become a Graphics Designer,hopefully soon.More practice and research to realize this.
- Start it now! i want to pursue it this year, 3 or 5 blogs in a week..not too bad i guess.I will just keep on posting here.
- Another skills to practice,just be more persevere and determination is the key.
- These 3 are included in my goal this year,i claim it Lord!
These are all gives me hope in pursuing everything in life, the seed will grow if you nourish and give extra care for it. May the Lord guide me and bless me more this year.
